Trenza, an artwork by Rosemary Meza-DesPlas, reflects how women fighting for gender equality are nourished and sustained by ancestral strength. It blends imagery from CDMX sites: The Heroine Promenade on Paseo de la Reforma and La Glorieta de las Mujeres que Luchan. Separate but connected, these two locales braid the struggles of women with dignity and fortitude.
