Poems
I have always written poems or short stories in my sketchbooks. The poems and short stories seem to compliment the rough and scratchy sketches of half-formed visual ideas.
In the early 90s I hit a streak and wrote a great deal of work. I spent the next few years reading my poetry around the DFW metroplex. In 1994 I published a poetry chapbook titled “The Laughter Between My Legs”.
I created drawings to go along with each poem in the book. This self-published poetry book is no longer in print and there are no copies available. Some of the following poems come from this poetry book while others were written shortly thereafter.
